Immutable zkEVM
A ZK chain built for games with Polygon CDK. It keeps transaction data off Ethereum (a validium), which keeps fees low. Gas is paid in IMX.
Immutable zkEVM is a game-focused chain opened in January 2024 by the game company Immutable. It is built with Polygon’s CDK and is EVM-compatible, so ordinary Ethereum apps run on it.
It keeps transaction data off Ethereum (a validium), which keeps fees low but means it does not borrow Ethereum’s security in full. Gas is paid in IMX. It is a different chain from the company’s older NFT chain, Immutable X (StarkEx).
