HyperEVM
The EVM chain run by the Hyperliquid perpetuals exchange. It runs alongside the exchange’s order book, and bridges connect it to Ethereum and Arbitrum. Gas is paid in HYPE.
HyperEVM is the EVM chain opened in February 2025 by the Hyperliquid perpetuals exchange. It runs on the same consensus (HyperBFT) as the exchange’s order book, HyperCore, so the exchange’s assets and apps connect directly.
It mixes small blocks about every second with large blocks every minute, and gas is paid in HYPE. Hyperliquid’s official deposit bridge lives on Arbitrum, and HyperEVM assets reach Ethereum through several third-party bridges.
